John Clinebell plays original rock music. His rock background started in college, when he played for a band called Tricky Luz which he founded with fellow singer/songwriter Josh Watts. After winning several Tucson TAMMIES awards, the band called it quits in 2000. Several years later, John Clinebell moved to Los Angeles to pursue a bigger music community. He teamed up with John Wolf of Math & Science to produce and release Stomping Grounds, his debut solo album. Since the release of Stomping Grounds in 2006, John has been aggressively performing his original rock music on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, as well as at small clubs, coffee houses, parties, and other events. Anything to get the word out on this new disc. He's also working with Aram Arslanian of Orphan Train on his second release, tenatively titled "Breaking Sweetly." It is due for release in the fall of 2007.
